Brown Strauss, Inc. (dba Brown Strauss Steel) has acquired Black Diamond Pipe & Tube, Inc. effective October 31, 2023.

This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity for Brown Strauss and Black Diamond to serve existing and new customers throughout the Midwest, as well as to leverage our existing presence in Menomonie, WI.” said Kris Farris, President & COO of Brown Strauss Steel.
Black Diamond Pipe & Tube, located in Peotone, IL was founded in 2003 by its previous owner Bob Shinn and offers a deep inventory of tube and pipe products, along with value-added services including saw-cutting and blasting.
The current Black Diamond team will remain in place and Bob Shinn will continue managing Black Diamond on a day to day basis as a division of Brown Strauss Steel.
